We did have a smaller window a/c unit that was just ok, but this one is a game-changer! It has a/c AND heat! Year-round comfort! It’s powerful enough to cool our entire garage (and we live in the South-so it definitely has its work cut out for it). The heater doesn’t exactly heat the whole room when it’s super cold out, but it definitely takes the chill out of the air and warms it sufficiently to make it possible to use the room in winter. We love it! The remote is handy and the timer feature is awesome. It is well-made and the as easy to install. We had to order a sleeve to slide it into, but it was very simple.
