The dresser arrived in good condition, but the box was filled with confetti that served no purpose except to really aggravate me. Putting the dresser together was difficult. The pictures did not help much. Everything had to be adjusted and redone. Two boards along the back were not long enough and this is problematic when everything is held together with pins and bolts. Having a drill is not absolutely necessary, but highly recommended for the assembly. The doors are easy to align once you get a hang of the adjustment screws on the hinges and what each of them does. The package is very heavy and very long however - took 3 people to get it into my apartment, with much difficulty, so do not recommend if you have lots of stairs or live in an apartment without elevators. These look very nice and are comfortable. Assembly is easy, just tedious. I recommend placing the chair upside down rested on a flat surface like a table or countertop when attaching the cushion during the final step so that it completely flush with the chair. I really love these chairs. They are sturdy, great quality, and the wood is beautiful. They were also a great price. My only complaint is they are bluish gray and not actually charcoal as pictured and advertised, which is not at all what I was going for. I've added a picture of them against a gray wall in my home.
