Sunguard UV protectant spray helps extend the life of garden & outdoor decor. The superior UV inhibitors protect against color fading, peeling, and cracking. When dried it has a clear finish, unlike polyurethane products, which will leave a sticky yellowish residue. Great kit! Precise cuts, quality hardware and clear, well thought out instructions. The stain appeared to be somewhat thin so I stained every piece prior to assembly, 3 coats. Used Sherwin Williams exterior wood stain. Built on 4" thick concrete that we also stained. Drilled out the supplied post mounting brackets to 1/2" I.D. and used Tapcon 1/2" x 4" masonry anchors, 4 per post to secure structure to slab. We are very satisfied with the finished product..
