Compared to my old refrigerator, this is a massive upgrade just for the space alone. I really appreciate being able to use the SmartThings app to set my temperature and use the AI energy mode features. It is truly user-friendly to use the app to turn the ice maker on and off, and utilize temperature management while away from home or if i’m just feeling lazy on the couch. Once setup and running, the refrigerator and freezer came down to optimal temperature much quicker than expected for a hot summer day. I loved that I was able to use the “power cool” and “power freeze” to make sure the refrigerator and freezer maintained temperature after I filled them both with groceries. What is also really special is that the app also tells you if the refrigerator door is closed or open… you wouldn’t think that would be a big deal but when you have a young child, you can’t be too careful. Have only had this Smith & Hanks wine cooler for about a month but for the most part we are pleased with the look and performance. We replaced a Vinotemp which we loved but after 10 years stopped cooling and we had trouble trying to get the part needed to fix it. After reading the reviews we thought we would try this one. Wish the shelving had rollers to assist in sliding in and out but if that isn’t a deal breaker for you will be satisfied with this one. We have not tested the temperature or tried to fill it to capacity so cannot speak about those features. It is fairly quiet - not as loud as the dishwasher but you do hear it when it cycles on..
