It doesn't take up room underneath the cabinet either. *There's a crimp piece required. The metal one didn't fit properly, and they provided a plastic one also which worked, but barely.. I’m 75 so this thing is a bit hard for me. I didn’t realize the compartment for clean water and used water were in the back. It’s heavy to turn around for me and lifting the water is difficult. You must wash the whole thing every week. My sink is high, newer apt, I’m 4 11” and that’s lifting at chest level. I think for younger folks it’d be great but when it’s done cleaning the water there is about a days worth for me. Otherwise for what it is it’s great! It does take up one counter at my apt. In addition to filtering my water, it provides customizable temperature cold and near-boiling water (and every temperatures in between ) as well as carbonated water all in one convenient faucet. It is easy to install and quiet to run - it took me about an hour to install as a novice. Some of that time was spent emptying stuff from under my bar sink. I have nothing but good things to say about this system except for its size. For what it does, I’m not sure it could be smaller. However, it is LARGE. Because of my plumbing and the presence of a garbage disposal, getting this system in my cabinet took some doing and didn’t leave a lot of room for much else. I’d love for it to be smaller. I also think it would be nice for it to come with a CO2 bottle. Needing to buy additional pieces for such an expensive system lessens the luxury experience this system otherwise imparts. I’d recommend this to anyone for their home, particularly heavy seltzer drinkers like us. I also like being able to custom set the temperature of warm water to make bottles for my baby.. Stephanieg. Removed the old water filter faucet, cut the water line to the osmosis canisters, add the new connection then connect that line to the bottom of the water filter faucet. I’ve had the six stage model RCC7P – AK for about a year. I’m just now doing my first filter change, all, but the RO Membrane. I have a bit of an unconventional installation. My system is about 20 feet from the water supply in the sink drain. I’ve had it installed on the floor. But for this filter change, I mounted it to the wall about 12 inches above the floor with support under the filters. That will make future filter changes much easier in the future. Couldn’t be happier with the system. Great system, great tasting water with very effective filtering.
