It has a lot of cycles to choose from, and the ones I've tried so far are generally shorter than on my former washer but clean just as well. I'm able to fine tune each load on the washer settings to adjust for the amount of soiling and the spin speed. The machine seems able to handle loads more easily then my prior washer without struggling (but I also try to limit the loads to about half full).
