These fry pans just arrived today and once I unpacked them and held them in my hands I knew they were going to be used often . A few people kept suggesting a brand name starting with a " T " and ending with ramontina but , I kept leaning toward This brand ( WINCO ) not only for the economic value but , these pans look and feel just as durable as the other brand . I have used these pans for many years. As you know, non-stick last for a while, but these seem to last for years. I was first introduced to these pans while at chef school. Heating is even and uniform, non-stick is excellent, and they come with removeable insulated handle, should you want to finish under the broiler. I noticed that some of the forks have rough edges in the back of the tines. I did not like that and rather than spend time filing the backs of the tines down, I tossed the ones that were rough. Out of 12, I tossed 2 and I also should have paid attention to the heavyweight description because they are heavier than a normal dinner fork.
