We love our Hanson bed. We’ve had it for several years now and paired it with a Casper king size mattress. It’s very sturdy and doesn’t creak or shuffle when you move in bed. The color is beautiful. If any lint gets stuck on it, a quick electric lint roller solves that issue. Beautiful bed! Super comfy. It is frameless and comes rolled up and vacuum sealed. Takes 3 days to fully expand. I do wish the corners of the headboard didn’t have a weird indentation but aside that it’s perfect. Putting the cover on the bed is NOT an easy yask. Almost broke a nail and filed for divorce but we got it on! It took about an hour and a half. I bought a 5 inch box spring to get the height otherwise you’ll basically be on the floor. This is a gorgeous well made bed I purchased for my master bedroom. It is very high and wide so I suggest measuring before purchasing; also it is extremely heavy so I added Wayfair assembly. The color is a soft dove gray with some dimension/texture as you would expect for wood variation, I wouldn’t say it is distressed. I believe it is composite wood and not solid wood. I really love the fabric center panel which has a silky soft feel. The only drawbacks are that the head panel outline isn’t a gold/brass color but just textured wood and that the frame is soft and is easy to ding if you bump or drop anything on it. Great looking and quality bed. We have the grey color one. The ONLY negative feedback is that it has an extremely bad chemical odor that is not going away even after 1.5 weeks of using it. The only detractor from this purchase is WAYFAIR itself. Their website can't differentiate Queen to King. Their email system of communication was non-existent if not confusing. And the delivery date missed. Now as for the Product, this is a good item - but that has more to do with the Manufacturer, than Wayfair. Luxurious, nice curves, low profile. The height of your mattress is an issue, get the bed first, and then adjust with the correct box spring from there. Oh - and Wayfair did allow an earlier delivery time, than other sellers, so that is a positive. PS - I hate the bate switch offer for 10% discount, when it doesn't apply to repeat customers.
