So far it's a great cutting board. Definitely have to follow the care recommendations for the initial oiling and seasoning for the first week or so. This was packed well. It is a beautiful end grain cutting board for an amazing price. There is one flaw, a pencil eraser sized shallow hole, along the top edge that is that is in the wood. Pleased with the quality of this cutting board. The 1.5”, which is recommended for durability, is quite heavy, so be aware. I store it in an extra large drawer below my cooktop, under my frying pans.
