I returned these, but they are nice looking in person (I ended up using metal brackets instead to support my countertop bar). I chose the walnut color ones, and they did not appear to be walnut colored. When we received the planter boxes we were delighted with how they looked. We haave had planter boxes by the steps of our back door for almost 20 years and every few years we need to replace the boxes. In the past the boxes were redwood without any lattice or decorative trim and we never had any comments on how they looked but this year we have had numerous comments on just how beautiful they look.
