I chose Polywood for no maintenance, heavyweight, and longevity. I assembled this myself. No issues. Very nice, quality outdoor couch! Very easily to put together with one person. The cushions are thick and stiff. Not too stiff to feel overly uncomfortable-you can tell that overtime this couch will be a dream to sit/sleep on. The back cushions are angular, which is very nice. Each of the back pieces has 4 holes for screws, 2 on the bottom and 2 midway up. One complaint - one of the back pieces had a production defect. It had holes drilled on the top instead of the bottom. And there is only one way it can sit, so you could not flip it. So this piece only has screws screwed in on the bottom. One of the photos is the defect and one of the photos is correct. We purchased the Manhattan rustic wicker two seater sofa in January this year to match our 3 seater sofa from the same company and same style we purchased in April last year. I would recommend this product 100%, after using it for 10 months. It looks beautiful, has good firm (w/o being too much) back support, and is deep enough to sit comfortably. I love to lie down and read a book, or have a cup of coffee, enjoying the different seasons, or hanging out with all my dogs on one couch.
