H.M.S. Sovereign of the Seas, launched in 1637, was the most powerfully armed ship in the world in its day. It was originally going to have 90 guns, but King Charles I personally insisted that a ''great ship'' be built for the English Royal Navy, so it went to sea with 102 bronze guns. The vessel was the most extravagantly decorated warship in the Royal Navy, completely adorned from stern to bow with gilded carvings. The ship was later renamed Sovereign and then Royal Sovereign. It was destroyed by fire in 1697 in Chatham.

This is a ginormous museum-quality replica of San Felipe, one of the most beautiful Spanish galleons of the XVII century. This is an “Exclusive Edition” where the model has a unique serial number etched into the hull, which allows us to identify production date, a material used and all other production information of a model. Master craftsmen using historical photographs, drawings or original plans meticulously handcraft these highly detailed wood models from scratch. They are built to scale with high-grade wood such as western red cedar, rosewood and mahogany. They are 100% hand built individually using plank-on-frame construction method and are similar to the building of actual ships. Each model requires hundreds of hours to finish and must go through a demanding quality control process before leaving the workshop. This massive San Felipe XXL model features plank on frame, three decks and 3 rows of ferocious cannons on each side of the ship. A unique bowsprit design that consists of brass statues and crafted brass ornaments on the panels. The front bowsprit and 3 large masts are connected securely using advanced rigging and lines painstakingly knotted and fastened by hand. Each yard has an attached hand-stitched rolled-up sails made of fine linen. Metal anchors and a wooden rudder are visible on the front and rear of the ship. On the deck, there are metal stationed cannons, authentic hand-built lifeboats with ribs and planks, wooden cabin and many other handcrafted ornaments. There is also an exquisite detailed admiral’s quarter on the stern with a beautiful handcrafted metal lantern, amazing metal crafted statues and many other spectacular brass ornaments. He continued to thrive in the speedboat competitions and his string of victories further accelerated the explosion of his company's success. His standard, 26 foot runabout was powered with a Hall-Scott four-cylinder 100 HP engine along with electric lighting, reverse gear, and water-cooled exhaust. In 1921, one with a painted finish on mahogany, and another with a full mahogany hull, retailed for $3,950 and $4,450 respectively. As the years progressed, so did the quality of the Chris Craft Runabout. In 1926, the Smiths displayed their first boat at the 1926 National Motor Boat Show in New York, New York. Their publicity fostered great appeal as they were considered as the world's fastest boats. The 1926 models featured easy to operate controls, unparalleled safety, and comfort with the most luxurious ride. These new models featured a large, 150 horsepower Kermath engine and reinforced tilted glass windshields, innovative for their time. The models continued to improve as the company expanded and the Christ Craft boat manufacturing reign flourished.

This was a monster to put together. If you have ever built a skywalker these are like twice as difficult to build. A lot of the screws didn’t line up. The picture directions were tricky. We assembled some pieces backwards so we had to disassemble and reassemble (it didn’t match the pictures). The screws were tricky to get in, they are blunt ended so you have to line them up to the threading well or they don’t go in. Trying to get the round gram on to the legs after building was challenging and we scraped quite a bit of the finish trying to get everything in place. With skywalker you build the legs then add the round frame piece by piece, with skytric you do it backwards you build the top then add the legs. It didn’t go smoothly. The screws we had to loosen and retighten after getting pieces in and shifted. The springs went on like any other trampoline we have ever had and the tool is helpful getting the first few on. We going 1 on each side the add another print and work our way around and found that to be the easiest method. The safety pad by far beats anything on the market we’ve come across it attaches and covers those springs well! It’s not loose, it doesn’t flop around, it’s a great pad. The safety net attaches rather weird and I prefer the ease of skywalker where it slides through the V hooks vs having to use clips and tie it down. The safety poles went up easy enough and the PVC covers over the poles tie everything together so it all matches. Some of the foam arrived damaged but the PVC covers hide the damage and it doesn’t effect the usability of the trampoline. The top pole that wraps around the safety net again far outranks any we’ve seen on the market, it holds the net open and is far sturdier than comparable brands. The net doesn’t appear like it will sag because of the ring at the top. This was the most difficult we’ve built to date but seems to be far more durable and better built than others. My only complaint is the safety net, it doesn’t attach to the pad easily and I ran out of cording to attach it to the pad. This brand has a higher weight rating than most on the market which made me feel better. It also has a way better opening than others. Again it was a beast to assemble and my husband and I have built like 5, we buy new ones when we move. This one seems durable enough we could move it with us.
