Time will tell how this guy holds up! Assembly was a little bit of a pain, do note that you have to take tons of screws OUT upon unpacking. I though I had missing pieces. The shipping box makes it almost impossible to repack once you unpack it, so make sure you want it! Some of the panels were bent, but upon installing I realized it didn't matter, the frame aligns them and it's virtually unnoticeable. Other than that, the item feels really well made and sturdy once all together. It isn't meant to be water proof, only water resistant. It's very nice looking, and the light color is beautiful. This item arrived well packed. It too a minute to unbox. This was IMPOSSIBLE to put together by myself. The directions were clear but it didn’t come together easily. When you put some slats in and you pull the two outside boards apart slightly to put more in, the first ones would fall out like dominos. Very frustrating! Once complete and set up its a decent enclosure. We got it for our chickens and attached the hen house to it, just left off a couple bars and zip tied the entrance right to it. The instructions absolutely suck and we wound up having to unbolt like 200+ connections to double up the gussets. Now, my wife and daughter got the base started and then asked for my help, I never questioned whether or not they started it correctly so perhaps they missed a step. The door is like waist high to my 6’ frame so it’s a definite crouch to get in there. I can stand in between the “roof trusses”. It has a good appearance and I wonder how it will hold up to the AZ monsoon winds. I used spiral drill in anchors to pin it down, no way the little stakes it came with will keep this in our yard in high winds. I am contemplating what to do in a couple years when the top is sun rotted away, there are only a few trusses to make the roofline and while it looks great, it does not take much to push it off level/plumb. To my amazement, this came in three relatively small, but heavy boxes and we were a few nuts and bolts short but they at least give you a spare parts bag, which had enough to complete the build. Be prepared that this comes in literally hundreds of individual pieces so it can look overwhelming, just follow it step by step and comes together rather nicely, be patient nd take your time. It really is an amazing engineering feat to get this big ole enclosure in these three little boxes. Overall, I am pretty happy with it. I wish the top had the same level of structure (aka bars) as the walls so the fabric top can be optional for predators and when it simply rots away but it would be easy enough to just get some netting and/or a shade later.. I was able to assembly the shed by myself. I kept the vertical beams from falling over by using tape (string would have worked, too) to nearby anchor points, such as a shelf unit or a stepladder. The instructions have no words, but the line drawings are good. Step 1 line drawing shows holes for 4 screws but the product had only 2. Step 2. the holes don't line up exactly. I used a bolt in the largest hole as a temporary alignment aid. Step 3. Perhaps it should be said that the doors go on the end with part #1. If you are assembling the shed in a small area, it it important to face the door in the right direction. I assembled it in a space that was about 6 feet wide. I had to push the shed back and forth to work on one side, then the other. Step 4. When putting side panels on, the bottom screw goes into the bottom frame. It's the most difficult one. To hold the panel while I worked on it, I put a temporary screw in one upper corner, then did the screws on the other end, starting at the bottom. Step 5. Part number 5. The bottom end is the one with a notch. After doing step 8, you could also do step 13 and step 18; that would hold the door frame better. Step 11. I put 9L on the right, 9R on the left. I think it depends on which way you want the roof to slope. Steps 14 and 15. These are the pieces with the sharpest edges. Reverse the directions on step 15 if you want the roof to slope the other way. I had to drill 2 holes for this step. For a product with hundreds of holes, most of the alignments were good. But I had to drill a hole in part 7 (frame above doors) at each end. The directions do not show any screws into the bottom of parts 12R and 12L, but you need 10 or so to connect these panels to the top of the shed. Holes are provided, but the instructions omitted that step. Step 16, the roof panels. Do the center hole first, because you can't exert much pressure on it. You will need to push the panels a bit. If they flatten, then the holes spread apart. Do the top side next, because if you are on a short ladder (like I was) it's more difficult. If the shed isn't exactly square, then the holes won't line up well. I did it in about 2 half-days. There were lots of F1 screws and plastic washers left over.. Michael. La Verne, CA. On a whole, I like this panel. It ws very easy to assemble, and I love the look of the wood and the black metal together. My biggest issue was the fact that they sent an incorrect piece instead of one of the spacers, and it would have been way to much trouble to get them to replace it, so I had to make due on my own.
