This planter is beautiful and looks to be very well made and durable. I suspect it will last through several Chicago winters. I wish I had known that there is no "bottom" to the container - as we intend to use it on a rooftop deck. This planter is meant to be placed over soil. I also wish they would provide a way to section off the lower part of the planter, so that not so much soil needs to be used. These are huge! Perfect for raised garden bed that won’t require bending to tend…should also keep critters out. Seem sturdy and look nice. Assembly was simple. It makes it so much easier to garden without pain. The quality is very nice, assembly I'd recommend two people as it can be hard to screw down the bottom of the bed to align with the holes. These are huge! Perfect for raised garden bed that won’t require bending to tend…should also keep critters out. Seem sturdy and look nice. Assembly was simple. Moving to a new home with an HOA we had to come up with a gardening option that would be acceptable to the neighborhood bi-laws.
