The pictures can't compare to the in-person true beauty of these dishes! They are just stunning! I bought these to mix/match with the Vancasso Bonita, solid color plates, also by Vancasso. And I am very pleased. The colors just pop out with the combination. I took pics on my kitchen island and then removed the background to share how pretty they are. Hubby saw them and said "I guess these are the dishes we aren't allowed to eat from?" LOL - he couldn't believe these were our new everyday, bc they are so beautiful!! This is really great set of dishes. I love the design and colors of them. I have the beige colored ones but they are definitely more than just beige. They have a great combination of coloring going throughout them. There’s a light beige, darker tan color and even some blue coloring. The large dinner plates have the more blue in them and they are a real cool speckled like design and are so pretty and I. Think that’s what makes this set so nice. They aren’t all the same with the same exact coloring and design on each one. They really look very pretty altogether. My favorite part of them is how the plates are like flat, but have a neat edging that rounds up. It also makes them stack real nice too. It’s a great service for four and it really looks very nice. These would even be great for single men too because the colors together are great earth tone colors and would go so nicely with any decor style you have. They even have them in several other color choices as well. I think the quality of them is very good and they even have a nice glazed shiny look to them. I got this 6 pack of dinner plates so that I could check out the colors, design and just get a feel for the quality, BEFORE I commit to purchasing the set. I am happy to report that they are gorgeous!! They have a nice weight, colors are vibrant and shiny. The swirled design really looks nice. My plan is to use these plates as part of a mix/match with another set, also from Vancassa - which is the Bohemian pattern! I plan to get a few salad plates & cereal bowls from the Bonita, as well. The design inspiration comes from natural rocks such as marble and granite. The designer combines the inspiration with ceramic craftsmanship to give the tableware a more natural color. Double craftsmanship: inner kiln changed glaze, outer frosted glaze, unusual glaze craftsmanship contrasts with mottled colors, each piece is slightly different, full of artistic beauty.

It’s a nice set, the price was great, good quality heavy stoneware. The description said white, and one of the photos shows a much lighter (more white) color, so I was expecting a lighter color palette. These mugs definitely give coffee house vibes although their capacity is like 8oz instead of 12oz like most coffee cups I have purchased. The color is a light cloud blue.
