This tile is beautiful, with a nice sheen and enough irregularity to catch the light and make it look expensive. However, 2/3 of the boxes I ordered came with broken tiles. I think broken tiles are more likely with this format because the grooves create weaknesses in the 14x14 sheets. Besides the breakage, the tile was easy to work with and regular enough that all the groves lined up without too much effort. I used it for my kitchen backsplash and am really pleased with the look. Part A consists of a mixture of epoxy resin, fine-grain siliceous aggregates, pigments and specific organic additives. Component B consists of an innovative organic catalyst. The 2 parts, once mixed together at room temperature will have a full 60 minutes of application and cleaning time, and forms a creamy mixture with excellent smoothness, also for no-drip vertical application. The sheet weighs 294 lbs and has a recommended grout joint of 1/16 inches. The overall thickness is 0.625 inches. PEI 0 - Wall use only. Please note that a sample of this product is a partial piece that is manually cut with a machine from the full-size tile. That is done so that customers can analyze the product and its respective variations in different design types. Shipping and delivery of a sample are much faster than a case or sheet order, especially if the order is Less than Load Freight (LTL). This was exactly as described. Measurements were great, metal is strong, shelf is useful as are the utensil hooks under the shelf. We chose not to drill into the tile to adhere. We used adhesive to secure to the tile backsplash and the top edge slid under the stainless range hood already installed. Seemless, clean, great price and gives a very polished finished look. We are thrilled with our pebbles! We designed a spa like primary bathroom and wanted it to pop with the tiles on the floor and in the back of the niche.
