This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. The surface also feels smooth and doesn’t give that cold shock when you first step in. The whirlpool system comes with 9 jets. They don’t feel too strong, but they move the water enough to help your body loosen up after a long day. You can just sit back and let it run without needing to adjust things again and again. It also holds up to 70 gallons, which gives you a proper soak. You don’t feel like you’re sitting in shallow water. The left-side drain makes it easier to match with certain bathroom layouts, so placement feels more practical. There’s also built-in lighting.
