I ordered 7 of the Wynd 5 - Blade Outdoor /Indoor Smart Ceiling Fan for a new home. Was a little disappointed that it didn't come with a remote (apparently a small oversight on my part). With 15' cathedral ceilings, a pull chain was not an option. A quick call to a very helpful Wayfair sales rep pointed me in the right direction on which remote was compatible with this specific fan model. The remote was easy to install and it worked like a charm. Fan assembly was easy. We also added a longer (24") down rod (purchased from our local box store) with no issues. Exactly the asthetic we were looking for to replace a very dated fan/light combo. Install was pretty easy, except the wiring forced us to use only the remote and we can no longer use our wall switch, which is a bummer. I like that the remote allows for dimming the light and the fan has 6 settings. Very quiet motor even on highest setting. Also, we did not have to adjust the blades at all.
