These shelves helped tremendously in a small home with little storage space. After reading the supplied instructions and making a cardboard template tracing, the install went seamlessly!! The drywall cut is vey messy so be prepared and cover your belongings from the dust. We only were able to use screws on one side due to the other side being a metal stud, but it was no problem and the units are solid!! No knobs supplied or needed. Medicine cabinet I am a renter and my landlord just tiled the bathroom. The room is very small and I needed somewhere to put my things to keep them private as well as store some items. I ordered this because it stated that it could be installed either recessed into the wall or could be wall-mounted. I knew he would not want to cut into his tile. I carefully measured for this item, but for some reason when it arrived, it just seems really big. I think because the cabinet depth is about 5 inches. It sticks out far from the wall. The cabinet does have an impressive amount of storage inside. I was quite pleased that there is not only room for medicines, but make-up and extra products as well. There is storage not only in the back of the cabinet, but also on the back of the mirror. It doubles your storage space available. It’s very well designed. I am very pleased with the appearance of the mirror and like the fact that the door has quite close hinges. The back of the cabinet is totally black which in my opinion makes it look a little bit more industrial or ultra modern. It does however, match my fixtures and shower faucet. This is an extremely heavy piece. It weighs over 15 pounds and you need two people to hang it. I am making this work in my small bathroom, but it would look better if it was in a larger room. This cabinet is just what I needed in the bathroom remodel it’s well made and the storage is perfect, the only issue is install it will be two pieces and a shim or thin board should be placed in the middle to it lines up correctly with no gap. I bought two of these mirrors and they look fabulous. Super classy and elegant with a mirrored interior. The door hinge is amazing -- even when you accidentally push too hard on the door, it closest softly. My only complaint is that one box came without the supports for the fourth shelf -- so one of my cabinets has four shelves and one has three. This is a huge medicine cabinet that has mirrors both inside and outside. It’s great to see all sides of your head when styling. It has an outlet along with charging port inside which is great. I plan on placing my small Bose speaker on the shelf. The only problem is the brackets were not included in the packaging so my shelves are not installed yet. The shelves are glass. Customer service was quick to answer my message about the missing brackets and they were shipped out right away. I couldn’t recess the cabinet because of pipes behind the wall that I didn’t know were there. My contractor installed a steel bracket underneath and installed it on the wall into the beams. Perfect for any bathroom. Recesses in the wall between the studs, and simply screws to the studs on each side of the opening. Only the doors are outside the wall. Fully adjustable glass shelves inside. Our unique, patented design of shelf supports keeps each shelf in place. Concealed hinges with soft close built-in assure the door will never slam shut, but softly close on its own instead. The box is solid pine and the shaker-style door is solid maple. We’ve painted the inside of the box white, so you don’t have to! Unfinished doors can be painted or stained. The box is 3.5” deep inside and gives you plenty of usable depth, but fits in standard 2x4 walls. This model has three doors that open to reveal two separate cabinet sections. Cabinet box is 12.5" wide inside. Doors are reversible to open either left or right. Completely assembled! All you need to do is put one screw in each hinge to mount the door. Then insert it into the wall and screw it to the studs with included screws. If you are replacing a current cabinet, measure your wall opening! White plastic trim surround covers the rough edges of your opening up to 1/2" all around. Doors cover the trim surround when closed so the only thing you see outside the wall is the door itself.
