It’s softer than I thought it’d be! I prefer an extremely soft mattress but I needed a shorter (10”) mattress for the bed frame I wanted and ultra plush is harder to find so I settled on this one and I’m quite pleased. This sofa is so beautiful. I couldnt be happier with my decision choosing this one. The cushions are a little on the firm side and thats how I like them. The back cushions are attached and they have zippers on the bottom, so you can add filling later if needed. The bottom cushions are firm, reversible and zippered. The seat is 20 from floor to top of seat. The pullout bed works very easily. It has a 5 mattress which really is not that bad at all as far as comfort. The toss pillows are very pretty and add a nice touch. I also want to add that this is a queen sleeper with three seat cushions. The sofa is 81 long. The color I choose is Jitterbug denim and it is perfect with the blues and grays of the area rug and chairs in my room, ( which I also purchased from Wayfair ). This couch fit our needs nicely. The sofa bed is a bit smaller than expected but will still work for what I need. It will need a mattress topper to make it comfortable for longer stays but I feel most sofa beds do so that’s not really an issue for us. It was very easy to put together had no issues. The cushions did fluff up a bit after a few days and are ok but the back cushions could us a bit more stuffing to make it more comfortable, so I will probably purchase some to add to it. The quality of this sofa/sleeper is exactly what I ordered! It sits firmer than I thought but not uncomfortable. The storage area underneath is large and a plus. The sleeper part is easy to lay out. Overall, I’m very pleased with the product. The service to assemble the sofa/unit on the other hand, was not good. The first crew did not assemble it correctly and didn’t quite seem to know how to put it together. I had to contact Wayfair as I knew it was not done right, couldn’t even sit on it! I requested them to send another crew to resembled it correctly. This took more time and effort than I desired, a couple of additional weeks. However, Wayfair made sure it was taken care of and completed to my satisfaction. They listened to my concerns and made this right in the end.
