My wife got this for me on a lark. We recently remodeled and repainted my office, and she felt like the light strand would make it kinda fun. She was 100% correct! The LED light strand adds a certain je ne sais quois to the room. The office is nautically themed, so one might expect sparse decorating, with paneled brown walls… this look, with the lighting, looks very nice. The remote control has several buttons that let you change colors and animations. The only issue is, and they address this in the included manual, when you size it you have to cut at specific areas. I’ve had these types of stick-on LED lights before but this is the longest string of LED lights I’ve tried before. I was able to line the entire kitchen, which I was surprised by. This shelf is great! I needed away to make my bfs game room more classy and less trashy. I think this did the trick. Assembly was time consuming. The 2 of us worked on it for 3 hours one night and another 1 hour the next day just to get the doors on. If you’re ocd stay away as it’s all glass and mirrored background. It feels and looks high quality and the lockable feature is great. Supposedly the glass is explosion proof so I’m hoping it survives when we move. The color feature makes this fit any rooms vibe. It might be worth actually paying someone to assemble and not a 1 person job! Update- After 3 days the powerbank stopped working but luckily we were able to order a new one. These seem to be great lights to replace some of our existing can lights with. They can connect with an app that I’m really excited to test out and see how interactive they are. I really love the look! I found the instructions extremely easy to follow. Directions came with both written and diagram instructions. I am in my mid 60s and building this nightstand was enjoyable and accomplishing. I like the fact that the nightlight is motion censored and will stay lit for about 10 seconds. I found it was unique that I could choose any color for the nightlight and also, can plug both my watch and phone into the nightstand… There is nothing I do not like about this (this includes the secret secret secret drawer)..
