Out of the box, this griddle will NOT fit a Prestige 450, but I found it was easily altered to fit. As it is designed to fit the larger surface area of a Prestige 500, the rear spacer needs 1/4” cut off each side, and a small notch cut (see attached photos). The griddle is also too large front to back, but a couple of self-tapping screws along the back edge and inside the front lip of the barbecue prevent any movement. This griddle is really well made. Being stainless steel, there’s no seasoning needed - just clean with water after use to steam clean any food residue off. I bought the vent kit for the convertible vent hood in December 2022. My kitchen renovation is not finished yet, so I don’t have a review on the good or bad features. I wanted to have a recirculating system so my contractor didn’t have to cut a hole in my wall. This seems like a great option. The reason why I said it was pricey is the vent hood cost $900 +/-.
