I’ve only had this mattress for a short time, but so far I’m pleasant. It’s not too soft and not too firm — the balance feels just right. I am so pleasantly surprised by my new mattress the CoolNes 16 in. Medium Soft Memory Foam Mattress with Cooling Gel Foam. I have only had the normal type spring mattress in the past. So, this type was a new experience. To start with it came in a big box. It was very heavy to get inside. My son needed a dolly. I had seen videos of people getting smacked in the face when undoing this type of mattress, so I was going to be very careful when undoing it. We got it on the bed the correct way and then pulled off the inner plastic as instructed. It opened up but looked half the size in width. So, we got it to open up the whole way and it immediately started puffing up. The cover on it is soft and silky and had a few snags in it. But it was mostly full size within a few minutes. When you lay on it you just sink in. It is very comfortable. It is breathable, cooling and 16 in. thick (which is the largest size). It says it is also compatible with an adjustable frame. The mattress conforms to your body and a variety of sleeping positions. So, whether you are a back, stomach, or side sleeper this will work for you. It also keeps you from feeling your partner move around at night. It does have a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty. The mattress has 6 layers, is a medium memory foam, takes 800 lbs., and mattress edge support. I am in love with this new mattress. I slept very well my first night.
