I am going to include a picture of both my new pan and my pan that has been used several times as you will see there is no discoloration as people have complained about. I grease and flour my pans. Installation was a bit tricky as this was the first custom shower drain I have installed but I was able to figure it out. Once installed this drain is awesome. The large water collection area prevents any kind of pooling and has a luxurious feel about it.
