There is a button in the app to "continue to limited version" which is supposedly free but there is no free version. It simply sends you in an endless loop where you are prompted to pay them to use the app. The manufacturer and product listing are dishonest and you're asking for trouble purchasing this fan. If you lose the remote or the remote brakes, you lose all ability to control the light or the fan. That was the entire purpose of purchasing a smart enabled fan so that if something happened to the remote it doesn't brick the device. This is outright fraud. Do not trust this listing.. Christian. The Punkah, which actually means fan in Hindi, is comprised of a single motor that can run up to six fan assemblies.
