It takes several days to bring the hot tub up to temperature when refilling. I think this may be comfortable for 5 people, but I have no idea how you fit 7 adults in this hot tub. Arrived two days ago. I paid to have it dropped directly onto my concrete pad. Got electrical hooked up yesterday, filled it up last night, got in it this morning. The good stuff: It looks good, should be very reliable given how simple it is, and was a great price. The not-so-good stuff: They sent me the wrong color, the ozonator was broken upon arrival, the drain connection is tucked back under the tub and has no shutoff valve, the jets control is just one button but still manages to be confusing. But, at the end of the day, I just want some hot water, with jets, and not have it die every six months. So, I'm mostly a happy customer. Update: Just a heads-up, exactly where the cover lift arm attaches, there's a vertical strap in the way (see my photo). We are SO happy with this tub! The seating arrangement is perfect, with no “lounger” to limit options. Setup was a breeze for our electrician- he was very pleased with the accessibility of the electrical components. The jets are amazing, the cover fits nice and snug, and everything works exactly as we had hoped. The tub arrived in perfect condition, the shippers were pleasant, and it arrived right on schedule. Overall, it’s been an absolutely perfect experience, and my only regret is being unable to give it six stars. Update Almost 2 12 years in, we still love this tub! Slow on shipping but a pretty easy setup. A little tough to figure out the controls. Found the perfect installation product! I was looking to make an old fixture smart automated and this SkyPlug canopy kit allowed me do just that. The company has a SkyHome app that controls my light and best part was how easy it was to install the plug and canopy onto my fixture. After installing the outlet and plugging in my Eurofase fixture I realized how dirty the glass was. The Skyplug allowed me the ease of unplugging and cleaning my glass fixture on the ground and then quickly plugging it back into the ceiling. Where has this amazing invention been? You can use it with almost any hanging light! I think I might just install these in the whole house. The hot tub is great! It was delivered within the original time frame of 2-3 weeks, and had no issues with leaks or damage. The tub is comfortable and has plenty of power. The instruction manual could be ALOT better, but for the quality and price of the tub It is well worth it. One thing to note is that the tub did not come with the wiring to connect from the control panel to the house, and the shell did not include a hole for the wire to exit through. Not sure if this typical with hot tubs or not, but expect to buy several feet of #6 wire to connect the tub to the disconnect box and to drill a hole in the frame to feed the wire out.. Lori. US. An excellent spa. One person was able to open the careful packaging and tip carefully onto several large plumbing pipes to roll into place from driveway. There is great videos of how to do this and it worked! The plug is small enough for a regular outdoor outlet. Once filled through the filter plug opening the spa starts its circulation and heating right away by itself. There is advanced features that can be programed but basic operation requires only two simple buttons for lights and jets with a circular nob for bubble massage. The jets can be turned for intensity and several pulsate. The ozonator cleans the water inside the unit so all we use is an oxidizing spa shock powder two ounces a week and the spa is crystal clear in our warm humid tropical climate. We do have the spa under a pergola with flowing outdoor curtains to protect it a bot from direct sun and rain. The cover is light and fits well. Overall the spa constructions is superior to many spas I have seen. Glimmering white inside and a dark wood like paneling outside. The sauna works well. Heats up quickly and stays at temp. The controls are simple to use, With no real instructions on what the ionizer or ozone box is for. The set up was easy, and definitely needs two people. Seems to be a lot of extra screws once completed. I put them only where instructed too. This sectional is great looking and very comfortable!! I also ordered an additional ottoman. I wish there had been an option without the table - the table is too large for the set if you set it up in an L which is what I wanted, so the table is wasted as I dont have another place for it.. So far so good. The directions aren't super clear, so you may have to figure a few things out but it's not complicated. It's about exactly what I expected - nothing to complain about but also nothing that especially surprised or impressed me, either. So far, I'd recommend it if this is basically what you're looking for. A couple of pieces of advice for setup: 1. Don't try to put it together next to any walls or structures if possible. You'll need to be able to access the top from all sides to connect the wiring and to secure both the inner ceiling piece and the roof, and if it's against a structure that blocks access to one side, it may be tough. If it's not too far, it's probably easier to put it together first then gently slide it in to your final position. 2. I put it together by myself, which really wasn't bad at all. If you have two people, though, it would be easer, especially for connecting the back and first side piece, and for putting the front door panel on (it's heavier than the other pieces, it's glass, and you have to line it up on both sides before clicking it in, unlike the other panels..
