We have been looking for a star that could actually plug into our lights and not require batteries. This one fit the bill perfectly and is very, very well lit. It stands out as the Christmas star should instead of fading away into the background. It also was sturdy and did not feel fragile like it would be easily broken. The packaging it came in was quite sufficient to protect it in shipping. You would not be disappointed with this if you chose to purchase it. I love this tree topper but I am only saying that because the one I ordered from Wayfair is the same one I have had for years. It finally stopped working which is why I ordered a new one. After much time spent trying to explain to them that I don't have the right one they said they would send me the correct tree topper and let me keep the one I got by mistake. I will be giving that one to my daughter. I had to order this item again and again they sent me the wrong one and then blamed me for not reading the description correctly.
