This product is ok. It's a little tough to work with, not very flexible and comes wrapped in a coil, like a snake. You have to let it soften up and unwind it before you can work with it. Use your hands to get it to conform to the wood planks. I used drywall screws to hold it in place. Since it was in the ceiling you can't see the screws. I don't think that glue would have worked, too much resistance. It's really expensive for what it actually is, which is a strip of rubber with knobs on it, but it does the job of hiding the seams in my wood ceiling beams and pretending to be wrought iron straps.. Pulls work great. We had a unique need for door handles for two different doors in a recent remodel. Both doors were ball catch closure with the door style too narrow for a dummy door knob set. We already had the pull on the kitchen cabinets and decided to use the larger 160mm for the adjacent pantry doors. The look is uniform and ties together the two areas. We also had a narrow linen closet with the same ball catch closure and decided to use it there as well to tie in with the adjacent cabinetry. Again, it looks good for this non traditional application. We did replace the enclosed screw with a longer (3”) #8-32 machine screw to accommodate the thicker door dimension and added a small #8 zinc washer on the screw head to provide more bite for the handle opening the door..
