Arrived super fast. Exactly what we wanted and needed. Description was perfect and the piece has a lot of character just like Ambrosia Maple should. The grooves in it are not too deep, but deep enough to see. We will be ordering more for a big project. If you know this wood, this piece is exactly as ambrosia maple should be with the groove character! It is not a flat back, rather has the edging thinned out to be used for wall paneling if needed. I purchased some crown moulding from here to build out a "nautical mancave". I wanted to dress up the upper shelves of my cabinets with some lightweight moulding with a nautical flavor.
