This engineered flooring is a neutral greige tone. The finish is smooth with no wood texture feel. The top and bottom plank are full length where the middle pieces are split which I thought was odd but maybe that’s how all boxes come The backside of the planks are a rustic finish that I kind of like (see last photo). Due to the natural glow and the vineyard series has high color variation. Meaning, the color hues will span a range from low to high for added brilliance. Vintage and long-length planks measure up to seven feet long for a more coalescent floor.

This is the floor of my dreams. I am so happy. First of all, it looks just like the product page photo. The sample I ordered was darker, had little or no red tones, just sort of flat looking. The customer photos are what convinced me to take a chance and I am so glad I did. The finish is smooth and glossy, the red tones gleam. It is so elegant. I LOVE it! Update: 11 months later, I still love this flooring. Maintenance has required a learning curve. It does show dirt and dust quite a bit and my cats leave little paw prints everywhere so it needs to be cleaned a few times a week, which I don't love. I discovered the best way to clean it is with a dish soap and water solution (a few drops of dish soap to about a quart of water) sprayed on a microfiber mop pad and not directly on the floor. Arrived super fast. Exactly what we wanted and needed. Description was perfect and the piece has a lot of character just like Ambrosia Maple should. The grooves in it are not too deep, but deep enough to see. We will be ordering more for a big project. If you know this wood, this piece is exactly as ambrosia maple should be with the groove character! It is not a flat back, rather has the edging thinned out to be used for wall paneling if needed.
