Backsplash from this sink came chipped, the Transolid said that they can’t ship a new backsplash, and we have to return the whole piece, which was ridiculous. The shower walls are 1/4 inch thick material, very solid, a little heavy when you have to carry them up stairs but worth the effort. The panels are easy to cut with conventional saw blades and drills. They went up without any issues and look fantastic. I will use them again. Wow! I’ve been dying to see these walls for about 5 weeks. They were delivered right after Thanksgiving for our bathroom remodel, and they took up a LOT of garage space since then. The packaging was larger than the 5x8 ft wall size by at least 6” in every direction. There was some damage to the cardboard one one edge, but there was no damage to the product. Unfortunately the delivery drivers placed the package upside down, so I couldn’t even glance at the marble effect. I was afraid to try to flip it to look at it. I was worried that it might look tacky, the way some “marble” products have busy pattern repeats or weird colors (like the “marble” shower base we returned that was “marbled” with purple and brown streaks.). But I did not need to worry! These wall panels are fantastic! The marble effect is very subtle and natural looking. We made sure we had room to store them flat until our contractor could install them, which finally happened today! They have a matte, lightly textured feel that is similar to tile, but no grout lines to scrub!. The crew commented many times how luxe it all looks. My contractor will caulk it on Friday when he installs the new toilet and vanity, and then we can try it out on Sunday! I looked at every possible wall material before settling on these. I waited a long time to receive this countertop. It was very expensive. We were happy it wasn’t cracked as it was packed very well. The granite slab was not as thick as other counters but we installed it anyway. Afterwards we noticed a chip on the front edge.
