I love this curtain so much. I was looking for something I could hang above a window mounted A/C unit and this was just perfect. You do have to fuss with the bow ties to arrange attractively. The seams are messily sewn, with lots of loose threads. I also think the weight of the curtain "Unties" them after some time. Slightly longer ribbons would have allowed for more hanging height options and a prettier bow tie but even with the challenges its still the best man for the job. We first tried this over a firm latex pad, and it did not add much noticeable improvement in thickness or softness. Next, we tried this down pad over a 2 inch thick foam pad, and it made all the difference! I am not at all a fan of foam pads. However, using this topper over the foam pad makes the foam less susceptible to sinking! Love it!
