Tempting touch. The perfect mix of the decadence of and the madness of Dali. Crafty, couture, and exotic, this is the wall art that reminds your guests they're in the presence of an eccentric glamourpuss. We collaborated with an artisanal workshop in India where a master beader imbued our clean graphic designs with craftsmanship and soul. Each artwork is hand-beaded on linen ground and takes nearly 100 hours to create. Beads of varying heights and patterns within patterns create a sense of depth and dimension. The result is part pop art, part textile triumph.

As Ellen Ehk Åkesson was asked to create an art object in honor of Ulrica Hydman Vallien's artistry, the magnificent Ticka was born. The object became part of Kosta Boda's 2021 tribute collection to the late Hydman Vallien. Ticka, available in a limited edition of 100 pieces, is a vessel from Ellen’s own imagination based on the same shape as Ulrica’s “snake bowl”. “I wanted to make something of my own, but with a connection to Ulrica’s art. For the tribute collection, I was inspired by the directness of her approach and style. The vessel symbolizes a tree trunk. It’s covered with modeled polypore mushrooms, called ‘Ticka’ in Swedish – hence the name.” – Ellen Ehk Åkesson. Ticka is handmade in Kosta, Sweden.

Stormtroopers are one of the most iconic images from the Star Wars saga. These imperial warriors, who have gone on to become part of pop culture, have been faithfully depicted in porcelain in minute detail. Made in glazed white porcelain, black was chosen as the main color for the decoration with some touches painted in gray tones. The piece comes with a base featuring an identifying plaque and its edition number. This creation is part of a limited edition of 1138 units.

This beautiful hand polished petrified wood slice is sourced from Madagascar and comes with an elegant metal display stand. It has an amazing pattern with vibrant hues of brown, yellow, and orange. Fossilized Petrified Wood, which is also known as Agatized Wood, forms when a tree has died and silicon dioxide forms in place of the wood - that degrades until there is no wood left, only Quartz. All of the organic matter becomes replaced by minerals, while much of the original structure, such as tree rings, is retained. The rainbow of colors is produced by impurities in the quartz, such as iron, carbon, and manganese. Most petrified wood on earth can be from 50 to 500 million years old.Approx.
