The gas springs have so much pressure, when I tried to close the lid, it split the wood. I fitted braces to reinforce the wood, then the whole cover started separating as it was held together with glue and cheap staples! I had to buy and fit more braces and re-glue and screw the whole cover together again! This was purchased to use as an art projector and it will serve that purpose very well. It is capable of projecting to very small sizes if needed and that is a plus. Lightweight, wireless capability and simple to use. My only bug bear is the user manual is not quite detailed enough. I wish still photo projection did not default to slideshow mode. Looks fine, has buttons on top if the unit (which makes you able to work the unit without the need of a remote). Has a noisy fan though. These seem to be great lights to replace some of our existing can lights with. They can connect with an app that I’m really excited to test out and see how interactive they are.
