This was purchased to use as an art projector and it will serve that purpose very well. It is capable of projecting to very small sizes if needed and that is a plus. This is my second one. My first one got so corroded from the very hard water here that I just couldn’t use it any longer. Was going to go with a less expensive one but you get what you pay for. The digital timer is great especially the “warm” setting. If the rest of my dinner isn’t ready I can leave the veggies keep warm in the steamer. However, the lid was cracked all around the knob. This product is a replacement for the 6kw unit that i had for 10 years. I actually don't have a use for the lights and speakers as my shower is already done. Not very happy with the programmability of the unit. You can only run the unit in 30 min increments. So if it takes 15 minutes to get up to temp you have to run it for another 30 + 15 remaining from the preheat. Maybe I'll find a way to not have to add 30 min.
