This is a beautiful rug that laid flat the moment it was laid down, despite having been folded for shipping. It’s quite textured which gives it a rich look. The green and cream are subtle, my cream and almond furniture look amazing in this rug. It’s wool so it sheds for the first few months but regular vacuuming with beater bar off have reduced the shedding which will reduce further over time. Love this rug!. Pamela. Freeland, WA. The color and texture are WAY off from the photos. It is shown on the website as being a darker reddish hue with contrasting orange fringe on the ends and subtle lines stitched through it. The lines are non-existent and the color is far more brown with the fringe being the same shade as the rug itself. This is by far my most favorite purchases from Wayfair so far. It is a very heavy durable carpet. It takes two people to transport it but once you put it in the room, it is so elegant.
