This product imparts a greater gloss than Marmoleum has out of the box. I'd call it satin. We like the shine. Since it is a Forbo product it should be the most compatible treatment available. The instructions say it both cleans and shines though it makes sense to thoroughly sweep then clean the floor with mild detergent and water or the Forbo cleaner first. Looks like it will be fun to use! Its attractive, bristles, pad surfaces etc are sturdy or soft enough to do the job propertly. I only gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because it should come with a case or bag with compartments. I’ve been using it for about a year, and it has never left me wishing for more. * the pads which come with the unit wash up very well in the washing machine. * the water tank is small, but I am able to clean approximately 800 square feet without needing to refill with water. * I use filtered water from my fridge with no problems. * the steamer works very well. (I also wet and pour a little bleach on the pads before mopping, only bc I tend to be a clean freak.) BOTTOM LINE Shark has always proven to be top notch. This unit is no exception.
