The only real issue (and its not much of one) is with how our sink is in the kitchen island there isn't a good spot to set the plunger when not in use other than in the sink itself. It is powerful and I am really happy how well it does its job. There is no flap that covers the opening to the drain like on traditional disposals. I thought this would be an issue having it open and silverware falling in. With our drain off to the right it really has not been a problem. Although I did have a fork fall into it the fact that the disposals "neck" between the sink and the bottom is long so the fork never fully fell into the disposal it just stood straight up. Also not having that flap covering the disposal makes it much easier to see at a glance if anything has made its way in that should be there. It is noisy but not bad, just as I expected as from traditional. I like the safety of it not turning on unless the plunger is in. We have young kiddos. Just makes me feel better. This is so beautiful and inspiring. I am a devout Catholic and the story of St. Michael is one that I remember from when I was a little girl and he is my favorite angel. I have a couple of his statues but the cleanliness of this is so perfect for what it represents. I received this as part of a tried and true program, and this ink is beautiful. It is well packaged/protected with foam and bubble wrap. The template that comes it with is folded so not perfect, definitely needs someone who is knows what they are doing to install it. i haven't pick out my countertop yet so it cannot be installed yet. but i love that it is all rounded and comes with the sink drainer. the inside measures 25 x 16 the outside measure 26 3/4 x 17. Blanco makes the best stainless steel sinks. This sink is very roomy and beautiful. If you buy a stainless steel sink it MUST have sound dampening. Nice piece, but it's really more of an institutional item and assumes that you are replacing an existing urinal or have framing in place to accommodate an install. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports.
