It heats things quickly, the element and stove top don't remain hot for long after cooking, The range looks sharp, even "snappy." The panel display on the range sometimes talks back to you when cleaning it, but you just have to remind it that you're not cooking now, just cleaning. I'm not able to use my Pyrex coffee percolator on this range, which is too bad, but it's OK- the pots and pans you use have to be appropriate for the technology. And the oven- it's ability to convey information and provide uniform heating is first rate. I was shocked (though I obviously shouldn't have been) to see that the water and electrical hookups had moved completely, making the install much more complicated for me. On the other hand, the newer leveling procedure is much nicer. Of course, we're still just getting used to it, but I fully expect this new Benchmark version to last at least as long as the old "800" model did, and be just as easy to live with. (Full disclosure, the old one would still be running fine if "someone" hadn't taken a tumble on the open door!) So far, my only quibble (and it's a large one) is that the Delay Start button has been moved to ONLY the app and is no longer on the control panel. At least let it be part of your Favorites settings! The vacuum was $999 on another site so I tried Wayfair. The description was confusing as to what attachments came with it and for that reason I give it 4 stars. The vacuum is perfect. I did end up buying a turbo power head from another site (having to buy a power head separately is pretty standard with these high end vacuums).
