Nearly 5 year update... I still LOVE LOVE LOVE this range! The wifi feature allows me to start the oven while on my way home from the grocery store, cook baked potatoes left inside it or preheat from the hammock in the backyard. I don't love the air fry feature, I still use a different one. I bought a newer version of this range than a friend had and recommended and am so glad I did. The panel display on the range sometimes talks back to you when cleaning it, but you just have to remind it that you're not cooking now, just cleaning. I'm not able to use my Pyrex coffee percolator on this range, which is too bad, but it's OK- the pots and pans you use have to be appropriate for the technology. And the oven- it's ability to convey information and provide uniform heating is first rate. On the other hand, the newer leveling procedure is much nicer. Of course, we're still just getting used to it, but I fully expect this new Benchmark version to last at least as long as the old "800" model did, and be just as easy to live with. (Full disclosure, the old one would still be running fine if "someone" hadn't taken a tumble on the open door!) So far, my only quibble (and it's a large one) is that the Delay Start button has been moved to ONLY the app and is no longer on the control panel. At least let it be part of your Favorites settings! Our default has been to set a 2 hour delay when we start the dishwasher, but I doubt I'll be willing to use the app just to do that. I LOVE the new interior lighting!. Ericb. Fri May 01 2026
