I picked these stone veneers as they were neutral colored. I went back and painted a light white over the veneers and sponged the paint in. Added a wood frame and indirect lighting. Love the wall and am so happy with the overall look. I ordered 16 veneers in all so four packages. I laid them all out on the floor first to get a pattern that flowed. The veneers don’t all lay flat so I used a wood frame behind them and attached them to the frame with Brad nails. Easy to attach to frame and with the nails and you can pull them off and adjust if need be. Very easy to work with. I even had to cut 5” off the bottom row and super easy to cut with jigsaw. These are very nice . They are pieces of black river stone set in a mosaic pattern to form these tiles. The back is woven and the rock pieces are glued onto the backing. Slate is a very durable metamorphic rock with a beautiful color variation that has the ability to transform your space into a sleek and attractive space. Because of its durability, it is flexible to be used indoors and outdoors on floors, backsplashes, bathrooms, or even fireplaces.

Love it! It looks so beautiful once installed. It does have A LOT of sparkle in it but it looked perfect once installed vertically. Still sparkly once installed but we think it looks very classy and high end even given the low price. Installed using quickset and used an angle grinder to make cuts. The first shipment had a bunch of broken pieces in the boxes but wayfair customer service was amazing and they got us replacement boxes. It seems like the problem was with the original delivery service removing the boxes from the pallets. I’m renovating our bathroom and am new to tiling and was concerned about scratch marks when grouting. These tiles however, are stainless steel encased ceramic on a fiberglass mesh so were extremely easy to mount, shined up perfectly after using non sanded grout, and look amazing.. Torsten.
