The color and texture are WAY off from the photos. It is shown on the website as being a darker reddish hue with contrasting orange fringe on the ends and subtle lines stitched through it. The lines are non-existent and the color is far more brown with the fringe being the same shade as the rug itself. This rug is true to size and colour as shown. It is heavy, thick, and warm under the feet. It is very well made and the "weave" is tight. It was well packaged and thank goodness it was because the outside packaging was so filthy it looked like it had fallen off a truck and was dragged through the mud and snow. This is a beautiful rug that laid flat the moment it was laid down, despite having been folded for shipping. It’s quite textured which gives it a rich look. The green and cream are subtle, my cream and almond furniture look amazing in this rug. The area rug we ordered was advertised as 8'x10'. However, the rug is actually 7'8" wide and 9'9" long. It was meant to cover an 8'x10' space on a hardwood floor so now we are left with marks showing where the original carpet had been. The product itself is good quality and a beautiful color, but the size was very disappointing. It has been laid out for 3 days and vacuumed but that hasn't changed the size.. J.. Victoria, BC. This is a beautiful rug! It is very thick and feels like a great big sweater for the floor. It is very soft to walk on. The colors are varying shades of beige, but on the lighter side.
