This is a beautiful rug that laid flat the moment it was laid down, despite having been folded for shipping. It’s quite textured which gives it a rich look. The green and cream are subtle, my cream and almond furniture look amazing in this rug. It’s wool so it sheds for the first few months but regular vacuuming with beater bar off have reduced the shedding which will reduce further over time. Love this rug!. Pamela. Freeland, WA. This rug is true to size and colour as shown. It is heavy, thick, and warm under the feet. It is very well made and the "weave" is tight. It was well packaged and thank goodness it was because the outside packaging was so filthy it looked like it had fallen off a truck and was dragged through the mud and snow. The color and texture are WAY off from the photos. It is shown on the website as being a darker reddish hue with contrasting orange fringe on the ends and subtle lines stitched through it. The lines are non-existent and the color is far more brown with the fringe being the same shade as the rug itself. This rug is beautiful!!! I love it and everyone who has seen it in my home wants to know where I purchased it. It’s great quality and soft. It does shed some when I vacuum you can tell. However, the shedding is not bad, so I am believing it will stop over time. I have had wool rugs before that the shedding was unbearable and I have had great quality wool rugs that stop shedding over time/use.
