The chest of drawers is very nice looking. It is a heavy piece of furniture, but the drawers arent as sturdy as I thought they should be. I can feel them wobble a bit when opening. It seems that all furniture is like this these days. The bottom drawer has a cedar lining, and the top drawer contains a velvet lining. I am happy with the purchase, but I do wish the drawers were more stable. The delivery of this piece of furniture went well, although another piece was damaged. Birch Lane took care of that situation. I must have been mistaken by thinking the purchase included white glove delivery, but it was only delivered to the room, not unpacked. It was not a problem for us to unpack and add the legs. If you like the look of this piece- I think you will be happy when delivered.. Kim. KY. Mon Feb 10 2025

These little cedar sachets are very nice. The size is perfect. They are not too big but also they are not too small. The fragrance is very nice. It’s not overpowering. The Queen Mary II, the largest and most luxurious passenger ship ever built, was to take to the seas for the first time on the 25th of September, 2003. This primary endeavor was for a series of tests ahead of her maiden voyage in January. This liner, which was the first canard ship to be outside of Britain, left dock in the western French port of Saint-Nazaire for several trial runs between the off-shore islands of Ile dyeu and Belle-Ile. The Queen Mary II - which can accommodate some 2,600 passengers and 1,250 crew members - is 345 meters long and 41 meters wide, and stands as high as a 23-story building. The 150,000-ton vessel includes a spa, five swimming pools, 2,000 bathrooms, 3,000 telephones, 4,500 steps along with hundreds of works of art. It generated enough power to provide electricity for a city of 300,000 residents. canard, owned by the US cruise group Carnival, paid around 800 million dollars for the vessel. By comparison, the Titanic was 269 meters long, 28 meters wide, and a gross tonnage of 45,000 tons.

"Death of Colonel Scammell at the Siege of Yorktown" by Alonzo Chappel depicts the tragic wounding and subsequent death of Colonel Alexander Scammell, a distinguished officer in the Continental Army during the Siege of Yorktown (1781)—the final major battle of the American Revolution. Colonel Alexander Scammell was serving as the Adjutant General of George Washington’s army before taking command of a light infantry unit. On September 30, 1781, while scouting enemy positions outside Yorktown, Scammell was ambushed by a group of Hessian cavalry. He was shot, captured, and taken to British lines, where he was later paroled to an American field hospital. Despite medical care, he died on October 6, 1781, becoming one of the most notable American officers to fall at Yorktown.

The reverse featuring a wreath was designed by Christian Gobrecht. The Silver Seated Liberty Half Dime is displayed in a gold book style portfolio. A certificate of authenticity is included.
