The telescoping rail system is a great benefit. We have not yet unpacked the individual panels as we are waiting a remodel to be complete first. I bought these rods for a total of 4 windows in a Living Room/Dining Room combination. We have standard 8' ceilings so a bought the 96" curtains because I wanted to hang them as high as possible to the ceiling. These rods were perfect for the curtains because the clamp is super strong and I pinched the curtain so it also looks "pleated". It gives it a very custom look because the curtains literally go from floor to ceiling! The wheels are smooth and it is very easy to open and close. What sets this rod above the regular curtain rod is how it snaps into the 3 brackets but the curtain and fully open to the left or right unencumbered by the bracket in the middle. This exactly what I was hoping for! As you can tell from the photo, these are not truely semi sheer. They do allow light in however you can’t see through them – which is exactly what I wantedneeded. The wind clips, keep the blinds connected, so you won’t have them clanking around due to airflow (another huge plus!). I did have some issuesquestions about installation and the manufacturer was very kind to assist me and help me figure out the best way to install for my application.
