Really sturdy shower base. I would buy again. I thought the pressure-fit drain would be handy, but my plumber refused to use it because he said they can cause problems. So that wasn't much of a value. But overall a great product. Just make sure to specify where you want the drain. When they asked, I said it didn't really matter, because I was plumbing a new drain to it. But I said, "Well, just put it in the center." But maybe because I hadn't specified that on the order, they sent the drain in the rear center, as shown. And it barely worked, because there was a joist super close! This tub arrived quickly and without a scratch. It is well-made with quality materials and finish. I can sit comfortably and stretch out my legs. I’m 5’9”. Note that it requires 3 separate gfi plugs. Optimally this would be on a platform with plugs underneath. There is no access panel or spot to run cords thru. Mine was dropped into the basement. Because it has a faucet and not a tub filler, it takes quite some time to fill.Before you turn on the pumps, make sure they are at their lowest setting. If not, they will throw water EVERYWHERE! And if the tub is too full - even with settings as low as possible - the water bubbles over the sides. The jets are so strong that it’s difficult to relax with them on. It doesn’t help that the light flashes thru its colors quickly and there’s no way to turn it down or off. Hope I grow to tolerate it better.. Anonymous. Fri Feb 13 2026
