Absolutely love this rug, it ties together the decor in my home office perfectly. The brown is a little cooler in person than in the photos, but still beautiful. I bought a rug pad for it but honestly didn’t need it, it’s quite thick and soft under foot. I wouldn’t recommend putting this rug in a high traffic area if you have pets — we have a dog and I could tell if he was running back and forth on it, the weaving would definitely be pulled up. This rug in beige definitely reads more gray than beige or white in person, which worked out perfectly — it matches Sherwin-Williams Morris Room Grey (SW0037) beautifully since it’s still a warm gray. The pattern has lots of very subtle colors, including brown, steely blue, and rust/burnt orange, which add depth and interest without overwhelming the space. It rolled out fairly nicely after a couple of days — I used hand weights to help flatten it. There’s a very slight fringe, but it hasn’t caused any issues with my robot vacuum. Also, there was no smell when unrolled. We’re using it on hardwood in a cozy living room and paired it with the Wayfair Basics Non-Slip Rug Pad 1/4″ underneath, which adds a bit of cushion and keeps everything in place.
