This rug is soft and low pile. It was packaged really well and did lay flat after only one day. I have this rug in my kids room, and I have had to vacuum it a lot, and it has held up well. This is my first rug purchase made online. It works in my space beautifully! At first it seemed more bold of a pattern because of all the black in it but I rotated the rug because there was less black on the other side of it and that worked much better.
