This was an experience. First, I couldn’t clear the utility lines at my house but my friend’s deck was perfect. We started out confident, but it didn’t last. The wrenching apparatus was our downfall. In the end we decided to forgo the winch process and hung it only using the locking mechanisms. The sail is great. It feels strong yet pliable and it’s the perfect shade of summer red. With the prolonged winter in the mid-Atlantic, it finally got warm enough to install this. This is an extremely well-made and equipped sail. The material looks really good, and it is substantial, fairly heavy grade. The material is porous, so don't look for this to resist rain. All the hardware is provided. You don't have to go to the hardware store for anything. The ratcheting winches were easy to install and they do the job. The mounting rings on the sail and the edge wire reinforcements are solid and look like they will hold up under the stress of wind that the sail will undoubtedly need to endure. We love this so far!. I chose the Royal Shade Triangle Shade Sail with Hardware Kit & Rope in the 16 ft. x 16 ft. x 16 ft. size in beige, and it’s been a great addition to my outdoor space. I appreciate that it comes with the hardware needed for installation. The galvanized ropes feel sturdy, and the latches and carabiners made setup easier. The material itself looks strong and well-stitched. It provides good shade and helps keep the area underneath cooler. It doesn’t feel too hot sitting under it. I had some trouble getting it positioned just right and fully straight during installation, but once it was set up, it looks great. I haven’t experienced rain yet, so I can’t speak to water resistance. Overall, I’m happy with it and looking forward to enjoying more time outside with the added shade.. Rosa. San Diego. We LOVE these shade sails! So useful. So strong. They blow with the wind, they keep us out of the direct sun and avoid the rain as well. We have had several over the years from Royal and have always found them to be well made. We wanted a really large one to go right over our new Wayfair arbor to help block some sun and disperse the rain so we ordered another. Success! Easily installed, everything is included!! It looks fantastic, and works perfectly. We chose brown to blend in and not be so noticeable, and it sure does look great! We can remove it so easily whenever we want. I think the quality of the actual product is very good. Quality fabric and stitching. The problem is I ordered a beige shade and received a clearly raincoat yellow one. As bright yellow doesnt match with any of the deck decor, this shade cannot be used. I ordered this through the tried true program so I am unable to exchange it. this is a replacement for an older shade. Found the eyelets to be superior in this Royal unit but have not had time to install but from inspection the stitching is the key. Perfect for the hot summer days in Coastal SC. This rectangle Royal Shade measuring 18 x 24 ft covers a large sitting space in our yard and more! We are thrilled with the ease of hanging. Mind you, we hung it out a few days to allow it to stretch out before really placing it where we wanted it. Do hang on an angle so water will run off...we imagine we will still have to push up the center to drain off if a heavy rain, but we haven't had that yet. Love these Royal Shade sun cloths!! I've purchased several of these to cover numerous outdoor areas that need protection from the sun. They are durable but flexible and allow rain and air to flow through them. They have heavy duty grommets approx. every 12 inches to help secure the shade cloth which really helps because many companies don't have this many grommets and the sunshade ends up flapping and tearing in the wind. These sun shades are so practical, affordable, and easy to install. I highly recommend these for anyone who needs more shade or protection from the sun! Today I got the package for silk lampshade. I have 7 orient lamps all with silk shades. The one I got early 2001 with beige scalloped shade with plastic lining until it turned brown and cracked. I have bought a small silk lampshade at lamp shop before. It was over $100 and now I am retired. I need a new shade so badly and I tried Wayfair and looked carefully with sizes. It’s affordable. Got the shade and touched carefully. The fabric is really silk! So I placed on the lamp. Sides was correct 12 inches. The bottom and top was 1.5 inches short.
