Cladding a sleek black upright rectangle in the flowing patterns of Golden Acacia wood was the brilliant move we made with the River Console Table. The sleek black base contrasts the lovely warmth of the natural wood to make a statement wherever it is placed. Because it is double-sided, it can go against the wall but it doesn’t have to be placed with one side hidden, which makes this a flexible piece in a room. The clean lines of this contemporary wood console table make it perfect for modern interiors, and the use of reclaimed wood illustrates our deep appreciation for melding nature and design.

I wanted to love this but just don't, the colors aren't very vibrant, it is not actually painted on the wood, just an odd print which makes it look cheap. I did know that before I bought it but I thought it would look better than what it does. Not worth the price, but not worth it to me to send back and pay for shipping so I will just live with it, which is a little annoying as it is a large piece above my couch. Very beautiful and we get so many compliments. Table is super light so easy to move around (which I appreciate). However, please be aware that the sloped edges add a complexity of shrinking the usable flat space on top for drinks or anything you want to place on top. I am fairly certain that at some point, someone will place their drink too close to the edge and it will slide right off onto the carpet.
